How do I choose the right bathtub for my bathroom?

Before selecting a bathtub, carefully review its technical specifications to ensure a perfect fit: all our bathtubs are pre-moulded, and cannot be adjusted or customised after purchase or installation.

I'm planning to install a bathtub in a recess. Are there specific tolerances in the dimensions for the fitting operations?

No. Three solutions are available. Check the technical data sheets in our website for more information.

  1. Complete with a built-in overflow.
  2. You can fit a ‘smart’ drain that automatically adjusts to a water level of 34 cm, ensuring the bathtub always fills to the desired height.
  3. The bathtub does not have an overflow feature integrated into its design, nor can a waste be fitted.

What should I consider when designing my bathroom?

You should certainly verify that the bathtub can be positioned near the existing floor drain, if present. You should also check it can be easily manoeuvred into place, and don’t forget to consult the technical data sheets.

What should I consider when designing my bathroom with a recessed bathtub?

As a preliminary step, check that the bathtub can be easily maneuvered into place and positioned correctly, taking into account room dimensions and floor drain position. Also, ensure that the recess is perfectly square, as our bathtubs do not allow for on-site adjustments.

Can I install tapware fitted with a Securibox system?

Please contact us before ordering your bathtub to verify if the Securibox can be fitted under your bathtub according to the manufacturer’s specifications.

What are the requirements for installing the bathtub?

Due to the heavy weight, it is recommended that multiple people assist with the installation of the bathtub.
When handling a non-freestanding bathtub, avoid lifting it by the glued-on finishing panels, as they may break.
It is important to ensure the use of shims to support the bathtub when connecting the waste outlet to the drain.

Are wastes, traps and corrugated pipes provided as part of the package?

We supply the waste and trap, but NOT the corrugated pipe.

What is the diameter of the bathtub waste outlet?

All our wastes are 40mm in diameter.

Can I order a bathtub from you online?

It is our policy not to sell directly to end customers. We can give you useful information to help you identify the bathtub that most suits your requirements, but we cannot sell it, nor give you any price. How do I clean my Aquatek Light bathtub?

For proper care and maintenance, use a damp cloth and a mild cream detergent or standard detergent. Prolonged contact with liquids of any type should be avoided. For a deep clean, mix a solution of three parts bleach to one part water. Apply the solution and let it sit for a few hours (no more than 10 hours), avoiding contact with parts made from other materials. Rinse thoroughly. A Scotch-Brite® type sponge can be used for more stubborn stains. Do not use products like trichloroethylene, acetone or particularly harsh chemicals. Avoid contact with red-hot objects (lit cigarettes) and dyes (nail polish).
